Three charged with illegal re-entry to U.S. after deportation

A federal grand jury indicted three men with illegal entry as a removed alien after being found in northwest Ohio following deportation.

The three were arrested in separate cases following investigations by the U.S. Border Patrol’s Sandusky Bay station, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Toledo said in a statement.

Gabriel Raymundo-Bernal, 28, a citizen of Guatemala, was found Aug. 25 in Bowling Green after having been removed from the United States on April 4, 2019; Hitai Perez-Jeronimo, 27, a citizen of Mexico, was found in Ottawa, Ohio, after having been removed July 29, 2016; and Rosendo Gomez-Santiz, 35, a citizen of Mexico, was found Aug. 24 in Stryker, Ohio, after having been removed July 16, 2017…
