DEWITT, N.Y. — Nearly a quarter century after the September 11th terror attacks, Central New Yorkers gathered in DeWitt Monday evening to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, and to reflect on whether America could unite again in today’s divided times.
Bagpipes, gun salutes, and the singing of America the Beautiful set the tone at the town’s 9/11 memorial, where people of all ages came together to remember and reflect.
