EPA to hold public meeting on cleanup for Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp-Navassa Superfund site

NAVASSA, N.C. (WECT) – The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be holding a public meeting to present the proposed cleanup plan for the Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp-Navassa Superfund site.

According to the EPA, the plan proposes to clean up 12 acres of contamination at operable unit 4 North to allow for non-residential or residential reuse of the property.
