Lubbock teen accused in shooting incident, robbery and domestic violence

LUBBOCK, Texas — Adrian Castilleja, 18, was arrested Saturday, September 6, for three separate charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated robbery and discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities, according to court documents.

On December 22, 2024, police were called to an EZ Mart located in the 4400 block of 34th Street for a robbery. Upon arrival officers were shown video footage of a man checking the back of the store, before returning to the entrance and walking up to the register and pulling out a black handgun. Cout records said the man shot at the ceiling and demanded money from the register. When the cashier refused to comply, the suspect fled on foot.

Teen accused in shooting at Lubbock park

On April 26, 2025, police were dispatched to the 5500 block of 45th Street in reference to shots fired call from the area. When officers arrived, a citizen near the scene described hearing six shots being fired from the alley. The officer on the scene found five shell casings in the 4400 block of Wayne Avenue.
