SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — An unplanned plane landing northeast of the airport resulted in no injuries on Friday morning.
Two people inside the plane made an unplanned landing in a field just northeast of the airport near the intersection of Farm Road 123 and 102. Both occupants in the plane refused care from EMS.
An investigation into why the plane needed to land is underway. Willard Fire Department responded to the scene.
