MPD: Teen kidnapped another teen at gunpoint during watch sale

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said that officers arrested a teen accused of kidnapping another teen at gunpoint in May.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on May 4, around 2:55 p.m., the two individuals agreed to meet in the 3500 block of 6th St. SE to sell a watch.

MPD said that the pair disagreed on the price of the watch. At that time, more individuals showed up. The group assaulted the victim and forced him into his car.

They drove the car to Maryland, where they stole the victim’s watch and other belongings…
