Man killed, 2 wounded in shooting during attempted robbery in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — One man has died, and two others are hurt after an apparent attempted robbery escalated into a shooting overnight in Glendale.

Police responded to the reported shooting just after 10 p.m. on Thursday near 67th Avenue and Butler Drive, south of Olive Avenue. Glendale police received multiple 911 calls from people who reportedly heard several shots go off, and others reported seeing men on the ground.

Officers arrived and found three men injured from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 18-year-old Dilan Allende, died from his injuries. Authorities did not provide the conditions of the other two victims…
