The community is invited to the first Valley Rally for Recovery, a free public event dedicated to showcasing local recovery resources and celebrating the power of community support.
Modeled after the Big Texas Rally for Recovery which is held in 12 cities in Texas, the Valley’s celebration is organized by River Ridge Learning Center (RRLC) teacher David H. Claunch, who moved to Virginia from Texas to teach at Waynesboro‘s recovery school.
RRLC is the second recovery high school in Virginia. A school opened in Chesterfield in 2022 and schools are planned for Loudoun County and Virginia Beach this fall…
