WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) – The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on 13th Street.
According to a press release from the Waynesboro Police Department, on September 10, police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on the 300th block of 13th Street. When officers arrived, the saw a man get into a white Sedan and drive off. Some responding officers started to follow him, and other responding officers entered the home to find a woman with injuries from an apparent assault.
First responders tried to give lifesaving measures, but the victim who police have now identified as 46-year-old Laura Humphries, died…
