ADVANCE, N.C. — An 18-year-old man from Advance, North Carolina, was arrested Friday after authorities said he made threats of mass violence against the University of Louisville in Kentucky, according to the Davie County Sheriff’s Office.
The Davie County Sheriff’s Office said it was called by the university’s police department for assistance at about 4:43 p.m. Investigators determined the threats originated from an address on Bingham & Parks Road in Davie County.
