Foley offers recycling for campaign signs

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Now that the elections are over, at least for some areas, the City of Foley reminds residents that campaign signs can be recycled, but there are some tips to follow.

According to a Foley news release, signs can be put out for recycling, but city and county guidelines are in place to make sure recycling is done properly.

Signs should be put in the blue city curbside recycling bins after the metal posts used to support them have been removed. The signs will then be collected during regular curbside collection routes.

The signs will then be taken to the Baldwin County Material Recovery Facility, where Baldwin County Solid Waste Authority Chief Executive Officer Terri Graham said the signs are being collected…
