Catch Eckerd students on the big screen!
A new feature film, “Brooker,” filmed scenes at Eckerd in March 2024 and some pickup shots in April, using the James Center, Nielsen Center for Visual Arts, Waterfront, academic quad and an office in Bininger Theater.
“Brooker” had its world premiere on Aug. 16 at the Centro Asturiano de Tampa in Ybor City and was mostly filmed, produced and written in Tampa Bay. The theater was filled with energy as friends and family of the cast and crew cheered when seeing their loved ones on the big screen.
