(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a suspect wanted for multiple drug-related felonies after officers tracked him down and discovered evidence of drug distribution with the help of K9 Riggs, according to police.
CSPD reported that on Friday, Sept. 12, around 7 p.m., officers located a vehicle on Southgate Road, near South Nevada Avenue, for which the registered owner, identified as 28-year-old Zebediah Morris, had a felony warrant out of Fountain PD for multiple drug felonies and a weapon felony. Officers were able to confirm the identity of the vehicle’s driver as Morris.
According to CSPD, K9 Riggs sniffed the air around the vehicle and indicated the presence of narcotics. When officers searched the vehicle, they found 50 grams of schedule II narcotics and evidence of drug distribution.
