WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — An Ohio woman was convicted of forgery of a public document in Wyoming County.
According to a statement from the Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, 21-year-old Myaira Harding, of Akron, Ohio, pleaded guilty of Forgery of a Public Document on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Cpl. Tucker Cook of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office held a traffic stop on August 16, 2025 in the Lynco area. Harding, a passenger in the vehicle, gave Cpl. Cook a fake name during the arrest on a separate charge, and went on to sign that name on court documents, the statement noted.
Harding is scheduled to be sentenced on November 5, 2025, and faces a sentence of two-to-ten years in prison…
