BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two, brand-new mobile health units are coming to the streets of Kern County.
Kern Medical unveiled the new additions Friday morning at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bakersfield College.
The hospital says the mobile units allow them to bring vital medical services into underserved communities, and are able to reach people who may otherwise face barriers to care.
