DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The impact of September 11th is still felt by many Americans, which is why the Travis Manion Foundation and others participated in an honor walk to remember those impacted by the event.
However, they say there is also a responsibility to help educate the younger generations who were not alive on that day.
“So many of the people coming here today to run to honor weren’t even alive on that day,” Travis Manion COO Joshua Jabin said. “So it’s our duty as Americans for us, not only to remember what happened on that day, and all who have served and sacrificed, but to teach our children about what happened that day and to teach our children to honor those who have sacrificed since then.”…
