Man rescued after getting stuck on the side of TN mountain in paragliding accident

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was rescued from the side of a mountain in Sequatchie County after a paragliding accident, according to the Dunlap Fire Department.

DFD said they were dispatched to Lewis Mountain around 5:15 a.m. Thursday for reports of an older man involved in a paragliding accident.

Crews found the man around 40 feet down over the side of the mountain off of Window Rock Road. He also had a possible broken ankle.
