Dover, Tenn.–While training at Lick Creek, Dover Fire crews received a call about a brush fire on Sandy Rd. Captain Crockarell and crew left training to answer the call while Lt. Rushton and his crew continued training with Beacon Rescue. Engine 23 arrived first and Dover Police Officer Rozet grabbed a hand line and started the fire attack. Engine 22s crew arrived and helped bring the fire under control with hand tools. Capt. Crockarell said, “Thanks to Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation and the crew at Fort Donelson for assisting. The cause was determined to be an electrical malfunction at one of the electrical poles. This is a grea example of how our police officers assist fire crews at scenes!
