Duke’s athletic department revenue increased by over $14 million between 2022-23 and 2023-24, according to data from the University’s annual Equity in Athletics Disclosure Report.
In fiscal year 2024, outlined between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, Duke’s athletic department earned $166.9 million in revenue, the 28th-highest figure in the nation. Because of the lucrative television contracts and ticket sales within the sport, football once again earned the most for the school with $68.36 million in revenue.
