(WJET/WFXP) — A local township will begin collecting brush and tree trimmings in the coming days.
Millcreek Township announced that Brush Collection Week will take place from Monday, September 15, through Friday, September 29.
ZooBOO Returns to Erie Zoo in October
Residents are asked to tie and bundle their brush and tree trimmings into four-foot sections. They can then place those bundles on the curb on their standard collection day.
Brush can also be dropped off at the Millfair Compost Center. They will accept brush, leaf waste, non-food garden residue, shrubbery and tree trimmings.
