DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) – The Decatur community officially unveiled the new street name of Steve Perkins Drive, honoring the man killed on that street nearly two years ago.
Dozens went to the intersection of Ryan Drive and Poole Valley Road on Saturday afternoon to witness the moment Ryan Drive officially became Steve Perkins Drive.
To outsiders, it may just be a name change, but for this tight-knit community, it meant so much more…
