On the side of a busy road in Los Angeles, where pedestrians commonly pass through every day, whether going for a run, rushing to work or on the way to school, someone had tied an older cocker spaniel to a traffic cone and secured the rope to a screwdriver hammered into the ground just a few feet away.
Why no one saw what happened or chose to ignore the obvious animal neglect and cruelty will likely never be known.
An older soul who should have been resting his days in comfort and love, not suffering in pain and abandonment…
