Local leaders push for 9/11 to be recognized in schools

BOSTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Elected leaders in Rhode Island and Massachusetts are pushing to make sure students learn about what happened on Sept. 11, 2001.

Most young people who are in school today weren’t born yet when the terror attacks took place.
