A Philadelphia resident was detained after an alleged carjacking at Sheetz in Altoona’s Greenwood area of Altoona.
Squan Edgar Washington, 25, was arrested after Logan Township Police responded to Sheetz at 1661 E. Pleasant Valley Boulevard on September 10 for a suspected robbery/carjacking.
According to police, they spoke with the vehicle owner, who claimed that a man later identified as Washington shoved him out of his car and sped away. The victim stated Washington was test driving the vehicle to see whether or not he wanted to buy it…
