RANCHO CORDOVA -Local residents will soon have a chance to connect directly with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) representatives as the utility hosts two “Meet SMUD” events this month. The free community events are designed to provide information about clean energy, rebates, assistance programs, and career opportunities, while giving customers a chance to ask questions face-to-face with energy specialists.
The first “Meet SMUD” will take place Tuesday, September 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, 450 W. El Camino in Sacramento.
