A former employee at Leo’s Oyster Bar has accused the San Francisco seafood spot from restaurateur Anna Weinberg of not paying overtime, paying wages late and falsifying records in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday.
In the complaint, plaintiff Zindi Adali Soc Rodas states defendant Leo’s SF, LLC required her to work off-the-clock hours starting “in or around” November 2023.
During this time, Weinberg instructed Soc Rodas to begin work at 11 a.m., but clock in at 2 p.m., according to the lawsuit. The attorneys claim Leo’s SF, LLC “knowingly and willfully” reduced Soc Rodas’ logged working hours on the computerized timekeeping system to avoid paying premium wages for missed meal and rest periods…
