(FOX40.COM) — The Department of Cannabis Control announced that it dismantled nearly $30 million in illegal cannabis operations in California after it executed 17 search warrants during coordinated busts. • Video Above: What do the different “schedules” of drugs mean?
The efforts happened between July 17 and Aug. 7, according to DCC. They targeted five distribution locations, two delivery operations, and 10 dispensaries. Search warrants were issued in Southern California cities: Burbank, Fullerton, Glendale, Long Beach, Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Rialto, Sun Valley, and Westminster.

“The continued proactive measures taken over the past few weeks not only remove a substantial amount of unregulated product from circulation but reinforce DCC’s commitment to protecting the public and the regulated cannabis market,” DCC said.
