After 25 years, a pair of married Toledo professors have finally become American citizens.
Nancy and Patrick Lawrence, who both work at the University of Toledo, first moved to the United States from Ontario in 2000 to work for the college, they said.
“It’s home for us,” Mr. Lawrence said. “We’re active in the community, in our church, and of course, at the university. Our kids grew up here, went to school here. My wife, my son, and my daughter are all graduates of the University of Toledo.”…
