New York State Police seek your assistance in locating a vehicle involved with a hit and run accident.
According to a post on the New York State Police Facebook page, in the early morning hours of Friday September 12, 2025 police in Montgomery, NY were alerted to the report of a hit and run accident that injured a 16-year-old bicyclist. Can you help locate the offending vehicle and driver?

At approximately 1:29am on Friday September 12th, Montgomery Police responded to a car vs. bicycle crash at Route 52 and Bel Air Road. A 16-year-old male bicyclist was found with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The crash likely occurred between 11:30pm and 1:30am.
The victim was treated and taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. Now, New York State Police are assisting with the investigation, including crash reconstruction.
