MILLBURY, Ohio (WTVG) – In this new segment, we’ll be highlighting the small towns and communities across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We start it all off in Millbury, Ohio.
In 1864, this was platted out, and in 1874, it was incorporated.
Millbury is located in northeastern Wood County, about 10 miles southeast of Toledo. The area it sits on was called Clay Junction when the region was first settled, but as the population grew, a new name was chosen. It’s a story you have to hear for yourself…
