BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Cox Communications is inviting the Baton Rouge community to take part in an electronics recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Cox Solutions Store on Millerville Road.
From noon to 6 p.m., residents can drop off unwanted small electronic items such as:
- Old phones.
- Tablets.
- Chargers.
Televisions will not be accepted, Cox said.
Participants will get free Hawaiian shaved ice from Maverick’s Italian Ice, which is available from 2-6 p.m. They will also receive tickets to the New Orleans Fried Chicken Festival…
