Freeport’s downtown pocket park is set to double in size following a contribution from community advocate Marianne Garvens.
The park, initially announced in June and funded by a T-Mobile Hometown Grant, was originally planned for the greenspace at 15 W. Stephenson St, according to a community announcement. It was to feature a patio and greenspace for community use.
