SHREVEPORT, La. – A late-night house fire in Shreveport is under investigation after flames tore through a home on Doris Street Thursday.
The fire broke out around 9:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of Doris Street. A total of 23 firefighters and nine units were dispatched to the scene, where they managed to bring the fire under control quickly despite the intensity.
The home sustained significant damage, but officials confirmed that the resident and their dog escaped unharmed. A neighboring house also suffered damage, though no injuries were reported…
