TULSA, Okla. — Oklahomans For Equality hosted their monthly Rainbow Market that provides food and other resources for Tulsa’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
“We are here at our monthly Rainbow Harvest here at Oklahomans for Equality,” said Hailey Briggs, the Executive Director at Oklahomans For Equality. “It is a free farmers’ market for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We have seen a big increase in just folks needing some support and accessing basic essentials like food assistance. We’re really proud to be able to partner with the Food Bank of Oklahoma to create programs like this where folks can come in and have fresh produce and groceries.”
