Boise, ID – A calm Saturday across Idaho will give way to a more active weather pattern Sunday, with thunderstorms, gusty winds, and small hail possible across much of the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Boise, rain chances will increase steadily from west to east beginning Sunday morning, September 14, 2025. By the afternoon and evening, the highest likelihood of thunderstorms will arrive, bringing stronger cells capable of producing gusty winds and small hail.
The NWS said the most widespread activity is expected in western and central Idaho, including the Boise and Treasure Valley areas, before shifting eastward toward Twin Falls and Idaho Falls later in the day.
