King Soopers to open new store in Colorado

LOUISVILLE, Colo. — King Soopers continues its expansion in Colorado as it starts construction on a new site in Louisville.

The company announced Friday that the former retail site at 1171 W. Dillon Rd. will be redeveloped into one of King Soopers’ signature Marketplace stores. Currently, there are 19 King Soopers stores across the state.

In a release, King Soopers said the project — a $23.6 million investment to further the company’s growth plans — will result in a 12,000-square-foot grocery store featuring pickup and delivery services, a drive-thru pharmacy and a fuel center with five pumps and eight electric vehicle chargers…
