Sarah Jacobsen writes: Bad news for fans of Camel’s Back Reserve. Recent vandalism has the Boise Police Department asking for the community’s assistance in solving the crime that caused damage at the popular city park.
Within the past two days, someone carved designs into both sides of the sand chute at Camel’s Back Reserve. While it may look like minor vandalism, city officials warn that damage like this can accelerate hillside erosion and undo years of hard work dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the reserve.
“Camel’s Back is one of Boise’s most beloved outdoor spaces,” BPD said in a statement. “Actions like this not only harm the hillside but impact the experience for the entire community.”…
