SPOKANE, Wash. — A man suffered a medical emergency during a show at the Spokane Comedy Club, prompting audience members to perform lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived. The response was highlighted by comedians at the show, including Drew Lynch.
Lynch, known for his 2015 performances on “America’s Got Talent,” where he finished second in the Season 10 finale, his long-running YouTube series “Dog Vlog,” and an appearance on “Conan,” was on stage when the man collapsed. In a video posted online, Lynch said the audience reacted quickly, clearing space and taking turns performing CPR.
“I got to experience a group of people coming together to revive someone, to give back someone their life,” Lynch said. “It was a beautiful thing to witness, because it restored hope for whatever is going on in the crazy of this world..”…
