Nashville residents invited to pick up free daffodil bulbs for public planting this fall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Metro Beautification and Environment Commission, part of NDOT, is giving away free daffodil bulbs for Nashvillians to plant in public spaces this fall.

From Sept. 15 through Oct. 3, community members can pick up bulbs to help bring a little more color to Nashville’s schools, libraries, rights of way, and parks. Each bag contains 50 bulbs, and supplies are limited to one bag per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

Residents who plan to plant bulbs must first receive permission from the property owner or the location they plan to plant, then fill out an order form before pick-up…
