AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) —The Amarillo Botanical Gardens will host A Day with the Butterflies on Saturday, Sept. 13, offering a family-friendly celebration of the Monarch migration.
Formerly known as Breakfast with the Butterflies, the event has expanded to include art, education, local vendors, concessions and food trucks throughout the day. Guests may choose between general admission or breakfast in the gardens, available at two time slots. Both options include a live butterfly release.
“This event highlights the beauty of the Monarch migration while providing something for the entire family,” organizers said. “Everyone will be able to participate in the butterfly release at their own pace while enjoying art, education and shopping in the gardens.”…
