Did My Power Go Out in Lubbock?

Before we get to the list of steps after a power outage in the Hub City, you can always refer to the outage map from Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L).

Power outages will automatically be reported , but if you feel you really want to emphasize the issue, you can always email [email protected] or call the 24-hour emergency line at 806-775-2509.

Reporting an electric outage is different than reporting a streetlight outage. For streetlights that fail to turn on, for whatever reason, you can report those to the city by calling 3-1-1 or emailing [email protected].
