Rollover crash in Reeds Spring leaves man with serious injuries

REEDS SPRING, Mo. — One man has been injured after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Reeds Spring on early Sunday morning.

According to a Southern Stone County Fire Protection District (SSCFPD) social media post, crews arrived at the crash around 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, September 14, near Dogwood Tree Road in Reeds Spring.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report says a 26-year-old Reeds Spring man was reported with serious injuries after being an occupant in the vehicle. The report indicates the man was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash. SSCFPD reports the man was transported by helicopter with head trauma to Springfield.

MSHP states the crash occurred as a 15-year-old Reeds Spring girl lost control of a 2003 GMC Envoy and overturned. MSHP says the girl was reported with no injuries, and SSCFPD said the girl was transported to a local hospital…
