TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane closures in effect on SR-36 due to Hazmat spill

STANSBURY PARK, Utah (ABC4) — Multiple southbound lane closures are in place in the area of State Route 36 and Pole Canyon Road due to a Hazardous material spill.

According to the North Tooele Fire District (NTFD), crews responded at 12:40 p.m. to the area of State Route 36 and Pole Canyon Road (SR-138). They discovered that approximately 200-300 gallons of polyphosphoric acid had spilled from a semi-trailer.
