The chance for rain in the forecast starting to pick up for us as a new Low Pressure system begins to sweep a Cold Front through the Coast and into the Valleys today. That will bring not just our next round of wet weather to the region, but also make for a cooling trend that could linger into the start of the work week.
The rainfall will continue to work in from the Coast to the Valleys throughout the morning with a greater focus for rain totals on the Coast than the Valleys. While this could bring up to 0.5″ of rainfall in total, it really will be little more than a one-day event – and most spots will likely see rain totals at or below 0.25″.
