The Olympia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a woman’s apartment on the city’s west side.
Police Lt. Paul Lower said the man was seen canvassing the apartment complex in the 3200 block of Capital Mall Drive Southwest at 4:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, before finding a unit with a faulty sliding glass door. The woman who reported the burglary awoke to the man standing next to her bed. She shouted at him and he fled the apartment.
Lower said the woman checked on her sleeping children, who were unharmed. The man had stolen money from her wallet, but nothing else…
