Recovery Day Lancaster 2025: hope, healing and community gather in Buchanan Park

LANCASTER, Pa. — On a bright Saturday in Buchanan Park, Lancaster County came together for Recovery Day Lancaster 2025 — a day filled with remembrance, support and celebration.

As part of National Recovery Month, this gathering recognized the more than 24 million people nationwide in recovery from substance use disorder, honoring lives lost and uplifting those still walking the path of recovery.

Organized by the Lancaster County Recovery Alliance, the event ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., preceded by a 5K Run/Walk for Recovery beginning at 9 a.m. around the sidewalks near F&M College. Attendees enjoyed live music, food, resources and the company of people united in purpose…
