The Coachella Valley will be under total sunshine this afternoon with slightly below-normal high temperatures in the upper-90s to around 100° and dew points in the 40s.More of the same for Sunday and Monday but with those midday numbers peaking just above 100°.Palm Springs will be hovering closer to their normal high temperature of 103-degrees for both Tuesday and Wednesday. We are keeping our weather peepers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday when we’ll be sandwiched between a weak upper-low off the SoCal coast and a ridge of high pressure to the east. Those atmospheric gears are expected to pull-up some moisture from the tropics. As of today, there is a pretty good chance we will see widely scattered showers over the Southland while clouds and higher humidity will both play roles in restricting daytime heating those three days. Stay tuned!@JerrySteffen@NBCPalmSprings
