Terrifying wrong-way motorcycle crash leaves Staten Island man in critical condition

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A motorcyclist was critically injured on Staten Island early Sunday after crashing into two cars while driving the wrong way on Father Capodanno Boulevard, police said.

According to the NYPD Highway Unit, the incident occurred when a 2020 black Harley-Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 45-year-old man, was traveling northbound against traffic in the southbound lanes at 1:06 a.m. on Father Capodanno Boulevard in South Beach

The motorcycle first sideswiped a 2007 white Ford Escape, which was heading south, driven by a 61-year-old man, police said…
