EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Public Library is bringing the fun of comics and pop culture with its Library-Con: Borderland Heroes this weekend.
The free and family-friendly event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Main Library at 501 N. Oregon.
Library-Con is “a celebration of comics, pop-culture and creativity, inviting fans, collectors, artists, gamers and industry professionals to come together for a day of fun and discovery,” according to the news release by the City of El Paso.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of exhibitors, “Artist Alley” with local industry professionals showcasing their craft, participate in meet-and-greets and a Cosplay Contest where participants can display their costumes in front of a panel of judges…
