University of North Texas Provost Michael McPherson told faculty senators this week that administrators plan to dismantle the College of Applied and Collaborative Studies, formerly called the New College.
McPherson said all of the academic programs in the college will continue but will be operated in different UNT colleges. Most of the college’s courses are taught at UNT Frisco Landing, and its philosophy was to prepare students for a fast-changing workplace with the partnership of Collin County businesses.
